Either type in your departure point and destination or select them from the drop down menu options for country and city. If you don’t have a specific destination in mind, just type in everywhere to browse for possible destinations.

When you’ve selected your destination, choose the dates you want to fly in the ‘depart’ and ‘return’ boxes. (Or click on ‘one way’ if you don’t want a return flight.)

If your dates are flexible, just click on ‘view whole year’ or ‘view whole month’ to find the cheapest flights.

You can browse flight results in three ways: “Compare prices” lists prices for round trips, “Compare flight times” lets you choose the best combination from a timetable of outbound and incoming flights and "Compare Airlines" lets you compare different airlines according to the services they provide.

On the left of the page is a filter bar. You can use this to narrow down the results by choosing the times of day you would like to fly, your preferred airlines and airports, journey duration, and whether you prefer non-stop flights.

The latest prices: Skyscanner searches constantly to make sure we have the latest prices for you to compare, but fares may sometimes change because of availability at the time of booking.

Skyscanner allows you to identify the best flights for your trip for up to 8 adults. However, airlines might require you to make a group booking using a special section on their website or by telephone. They might also have separate terms and conditions.

Therefore we advise to contacting the airline you wish to fly with prior to booking to check their policy.

Skyscanner does not currently offer a multi-city search option but we are planning on adding one soon. At the moment you need to carry out separate one way searches.
