Francistown is Botswana's oldest town and the second largest in the country. It's known for its gold mining and is currently going through an economic boom once again thanks to the abundance of this precious metal. Besides that, other sites in the town include the Supa Ngwao Museum. It documents the life and culture of the Kalanga people and is a great point of interest for history buffs. Nature lovers will also enjoy the Birds and Game Botswana which is a refuge for orphaned animals.
