It's an amazing city to study and go out. Although it's small you can do so much
Very nice city but I was looking for something a little more quaint and Aix is not that. Lots of high end shopping and dining.
Aix is a lovely city, but definitely not the quaint little Provincial town I was expecting! Instead of a small street market, the first thing I saw getting off the train was an Apple store. The city has a large student population and a busy, almost hectic pace. Lots of upscale shopping and some historic sights.
Aix-en-Provence is a truly charming town. I went only for a day trip, but loved walking around the town, browsing the markets, and eating too much good cheese and local baked goods. I will definitely return and spend more time in the town.
