The best little city you'll find. Stay a day and you'll see what all the fuss is about.
Bozeman has plenty of room for you to roam. It also has gorgeous views and serves as a great gateway to both the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. It's also an up-and-coming city that isn't all tourists out and it serves as headquarters to a few tech companies like RightNow Technologies.
Bozeman is one of America's "It" cities in the second decade of the 21st century. The city is at the eye of a cyclone of mountain ranges that seem to stud every horizon. The city's historic buildings--mansions, mills and even railroad cars--are remarkably well preserved and many have gained a second life as homes to art galleries, architecture or design firms and upscale cafes. As a college town Bozeman has a youthful feel and the nightlife is consequently vibrant and varied. Oh yeah, and Yellowstone National Park is only 90 miles away, making Bozeman an ideal staging point for a foray into the jewel in the crown of the National Park System.
Great little (and growing) town. In a valley surrounded by mountains, you will find lots of hiking, fishing and skiing locally and it is a convenient jumping off place for Yellowstone (about 1.5 hrs to the entrance). Downtown is walkable and has a nice selection of restaurants and shopping.
