My husband and I stayed in St. Maarten but rented a car so we were able to venture off into different beaches and places throughout the island. Grand Case was by far the most beautiful beach we visited in the whole island (all of them were pretty in their own way!). The LOVE hotel or something along those lines has awesome drinks. They served my piña colada in a coconut cup. The brought us a table and dug it into the sand in the ocean so we could enjoy our drinks in the water. I recommend that you walk along the beach. The sand is soft, the water is crystal blue. Lovely scenery!
A quiet little town on the French side, Grand Case is the perfect place to relax on the beach and enjoy all that St. Martin has to offer. Grand Case is less hustle and bustle than Philipsburg or Marigot, and you won't get bus loads of beach goers from the cruise ships that you will at Orient Bay. The dining options are diverse, delicious, and abundant with most places being right on the beach so you can take in the beautiful sunsets. And its location makes it easy to explore other parts of the island from Grand Case, that is if you ever feel the need to leave.
