this city is beautiful tranquil and worth the trip, from Croft Winery trying port wine, beautiful local artisan work, and food.
Porto is a gorgeous, authentic and charming city, full of life and amazing food, not to mention the tasty Port wine of which they are a few of the famous cellars on the harbour quays. Enjoyed getting lost in the little narrow streets of the city, having a ridiculously cheap meal and trying the famous Francesinha dish, yes it’s full of calories but it’s delicious! If you are there for longer than a weekend I’d recommend renting a car to go explore the wine vineyards along the Douro river, was definitely one of my highlights!
City with many things to see, you can very easily walk. Do not miss the river cruise and the visit to the wine cellars (there are many, and the Port wine is one of the best), the time that I found not the best, I recommend to bring the umbrella below .
