El Paso a boarder town in the southwestern Texas. It has a long history of trade routes for both Indians, Spaniards, US, and Mexico. You can spend about 3 days to get the flavor of the city. Disability access and disability parking will depend on your activities.
El Paso is the sixth largest city in Texas, with an estimated population of just over six-hundred and fifty thousand people. It is a very interesting town, with a lot of historical sites.
Not a nice place to visit on a family vacation, but difficult to avoid between Dallas and the California coast. The city smells bad and seems rundown compared to other locales in Texas. I would definitely avoid it.
Seemed very primitive to me. Its been years since I was there but it wasn't the best experience but rather interesting. I liked the people there but its another warm spot. I also was in Odessa, Texas and it was very different to me. Seemed like there was a bar on every corner to me. Went to a lake near there and it was fun but no grass, just trees and dirt and a river. Camped over night there. Long time ago. Different circumstances might have been better.
