Forte de Copacabana

Sem dúvida uma das melhores atrações da cidade. Para entrar paga-se 6 reais o ingresso. A vista da praia de Copacabana é demais. E a vista das pedras onde ficam os canhões é de tirar o fôlego, principalmente ao entardecer. Agora possui uma Confeitaria Colombo que vive lotada. Gostamos tanto do local que fomos duas vezes no mesmo final-de-semana. Imperdível.

This is a nice site to take a stroll with good views of Copacabana. There's a small museum here too and lovely cafe, which we didn't have time to visit.

Nice place to visit in Copacabana, there are restaurants and a military museum. A very good landscape.

The Forte de Copacabana sits at the mouth of the Guanabara Bay and was constructed in 1907 to protect Rio de Janeiro from a naval attack. I found the forte to be very interesting, and it is worth a visit while in Rio.
