Accra is the capital of Ghana, and the place most tourists begin their trips. I wouldn't spend too much time, here, as there are many other cities with a lot more to do that are a lot less hectic, although a trip to the Cultural Cente, James Town, and the various markets is a good way to spend your time here.

While working for a non-profit (NGO) with Fearless Planet I was introduced to Ghana. This was one of the best places I have been to, it changed my life forever. I was fortunate to meet so many incredible people that will now be part of my family. The history of the slave trade was heartbreaking but a MUST for all to experience if given the chance to visit this land.
