This place is fancy; I, legit, have never stayed in a place so nice. I'm only here because I had travel points.
I was told there was free cocktails downstairs from 5:30-7:30, but I was out with friends so I didn't get to utilize that. Free breakfast though~!!!
When you step off busy Peachtree Street into the huge atrium lobby of this hotel, you almost forget you are in the middle of Buckhead! The hotel was fairly attractive in its decor, but the common space is what steals the show. I always appreciate a good indoor water feature, and this particular Embassy Suites did not disappoint! It has a beautiful koi pond! The hotel also has two pools that guests may use, one of which is indoor. The hotel has a Ruth's Chris steakhouse as it's house restaurant, but the convenient location of this hotel will make it very easy to explore Peachtree Street for good food and fun bars. The rooms are all suite style, but it may be worth upgrading to the club level where you can get free wifi and complimentary snacks and other meals. Bonus points as always with Embassy Suites for the complimentary cocktail hour!
The lobby felt like a garden and I was surprised to see full size fish swimming in a stream. A large number of guests were gathering, a mixture of families and groups of people attending a conference. The hotel was nice enough, but in my opinion didn’t measure up to some of the other locations in the Atlanta area. The obvious benefit of staying here is location. It sits in the heart of Buckhead where shopping, dining and entertainment is plentiful.
Ruth's Chris Steak House is the only dining option inside the hotel, beyond the full breakfast that comes complimentary. The hotel will provide transportation to and from local establishments but there are options within walking distance.
With standard accommodations, this is a good host hotel for a conference. There is meeting space, a business center, fitness room, indoor pool and whirlpool. Not to mention, an evening reception, good for networking.
When I made a recent visit to the Embassy Suites it was bustling with a lot of people. I couldn't tell if it was a large family reunion or a weekend convention. The hotel has a great lobby with beautiful coy fish and a waterfall. There is an indoor and outdoor pool here and a Ruth Chris Steakhouse inside of the hotel. The Embassy is good option for anyone traveling on business or families on extended vacation because of the space it offers as well as it's proximity to major shopping at Lenox, which is mere blocks from the hotel and it's relatively close to several major interstates.
Just down the street and within walking distance of the famed Lenox Mall is the Embassy Suites Hotel. The location is great and is nestled among the other large hotel chains in the Buckhead community.
What makes the Embassy Suites unique is the beautiful and peaceful koi pond inside the atrium and lobby. There are very large koi fish that have free reign of the entire natural pond inside and away from the elements. There is even a large rain pipe that creates the sound and sensation of a water fall. It is a very relaxing place to be.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is a draw for many to enjoy a great steak dinner. It is a nice restaurant and you get to enjoy the sounds of the waterfall while enjoying your meal.
Rooms are clean, comfortable, and with everyone being a suite this is a great location for families to visit.
The colorful windows of the outside seem a little dated and tacky, however the location, peaceful atrium, and family friendly environment make this a good place to stay.
