Just down the road from The French Townhouse, about 4 minutes away. The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum houses the works of world famous George Ohr (The Mad Potter of Biloxi, circa 1878-1901) and other extremely renowned and talented potters and artists. The museum, a modern stainless steel structure with separate 'pods' which house different artists works, was designed by world renowned architect, Frank Gehry, (Guggenheim Museum in Bilboa, Spain and the Disney Center in Los Angeles, among others). The New York Times identified Gehry as the most talented and artistic living architect of our time. Because of his fame, it was a unbelievable when he agreed to design a building in Biloxi, Mississippi (he identified with George Ohr's work). The trip is worth seeing the building, loved by most,
