Vodnikov Dom hut

The Vodnikov Dom hut is, on the one hand, a mountain hut that in season provides shelter to the masses of hikers camping on the way up to the summit of Mt Triglav. On the other hand, situated in a wide, stunning valley at the very edge of the treeline with mountain views all around, it also makes a totally worthwhile destination in its own right: the place where the path, after hours of climbing, finally opens to the high mountains. Regardless of if you stay, there's an excellent water source here in the form of a natural spring.
