Plaza Hotel Buenos Aires

I stayed at the Marriot for a couple of days before going on to Ushuaia and Antarctica. It was a good place to catch up before moving on. The hotel was first class and comfortable. It's at the end of the Calle de Florida, and within walking distance of the ferry to Uruguay. It's across the street from the Plaza San Martin and the Torre Monumental.

This was not like other Marriotts, I've stayed in Lima Peru, Santiago de Chile, but this one is old, from the carpet to everything. And it smells like humid and dust. I put two star because from the outside it looks pretty, but indoors it's just dissapointing, I think for that price you could go to better hotels. Also, a hotel near Puerto Madero is more fun!

We stayed in the Marriott Plaza Hotel while in Buenos Aires and we found it clean, comforatable, and convenient. It is sandwiched between the Parque San Martin and Avenida Florida. So in this sense, it's right in the middle of everything.

I liked the hotel, but the area has gone down. I would not go back as there are more convenient/safer options in Buenos Aires. I would recommend this property for business people, but not for families or couples.

Not good very old, old furniture, old carpet.
