Costco Food Court

Hey, it's Costco. You can't get a hot dog of this quality, AND drink for any cheaper than $1.50 anywhere in town.

For anyone who's ever been to any costco, anywhere, knows that it can sometimes be a real pain in the posterior. From the parking lot to the seemingly never ending check out lines, just the thought of having to make a run to costco makes even the king and queen of patience groan. Me being one of those who dreads having to stop in, I find the Burbank Costco not that bad...if you go at the right times that is. Saturday after 9:30am, all bets are off homie! But weekdays aren't as bad as the Glendale location. Like all Costcos, theres a huge parking lot but thats not where the problem is. The problem comes from bad drivers and lazy patrons. The rude honking and the neglect of putting your cat away because you're too lazy to walk a few steps. Not to mention those few people who are so caught up in themselves and what they are trying to do they park like shit and make it difficult for anyone else to park next to them.

Now that I'm done ranting about dumb and lazy people, let me hit some high lights. The staff here are friendly, even the ones in the return line. The lines move pretty quickly at the concession stand. And this location is always neat and organized.

This is one of my favorite Costco Food Courts. Why you wonder would I like this over each and every other identical food court you ask? Well its rather obvious, they have some special things going on here…

The food items are the same. We all know the standard deals that make Costco such a great lunch option. They have them here as well. The same tasty quality also exists. So then why you ask is this a better food court here than elsewhere?

First they have the food court window outside so anyone can go to the foodcourt without having to enter the building and bully their way past the annoying show me your membership card dude… Second they have “chip” ice in the machines here. I happen to love that easily crushed chewable ice and it makes me super happy that they have it here. It is not always easy to find but I was stoked to find it here to say the least. Third the set up of tables, drink machines and ordering windows is set up over a slightly larger area making it much more convenient for the average joe to do what they need to do before or after shopping at Costco… if they even plan on shopping. Much much easier to me..

Consequently this Costco food court is everything you know and love about a Costco food court but with a couple of awesome bonuses =D
