O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, Mountain Villas and Lost World Spa

Lovely place once you get through the hectic roads and idiots in 4WDs. Expensive food that's not worth the price so pack a picnic lunch. best scenery and the treetop walk is lovely although short. Wouldn't rush back but nice for a tourist.

We spent 2 nights in the 2 bedroom self contained, mountain villa at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat. Beautiful, clean and modern. It was fully equipped i.e. jacuzzi, fireplace, washers and etc. We had lovely mountain view. Totally in love with the place.

Do note that there's only one restaurant in the retreat and thus, usually crowded during dinner time.
So we made our way down to the nearest town down the hill again (45 min drive by car one way) to get some meat and seafood for barbeque at the villa.
If we had known, we'd have gotten them on our drive up in the first place. But well... that's part of the adventures in traveling! It's in the getting lost that one will chance upon other jewels and unplanned sights. It was all worth it.
