Mabe's Pizza

Well known pizza place in Decorah. My wife ate there every time her family visited Decorah when she was a kid. Onion rings were OK. Fried cheese curds were great. We had a large group so we ordered four different pizzas. My favorite was the bacon cheeseburger which is completely covered with topping. We also had the Philly cheesesteak, veggie, and a plain cheese for the kids. We did three mediums and one 9" special. We had a lot of leftovers.

Many a folk who have spent time in Decorah, especially Luther Colleger Alumni, consider Mabe's to be a "must do" destination. Not just pizza though! A diverse menu and always lively with locals and visitors.

Amazing and big pizzas with lots of flavor. I will crave these for the rest of my life. We had a meat pizza with pepperoni and sausage, and another with Canadian bacon and veggies. They were both fantastic. Bring a group and get a large!
