This Little India is a haven of activity in the evening. While there is action in the afternoon and mornings, most of the people are staying indoors out of the heat. Taking a walk down all the streets is a must here, you'll see colors, inhale smells, hear lots of sounds (Bollywood music blaring included). If you pop into the shops, most of the vendors aren't too pushy which is nice. Everything is well priced at the restaurants, as mentioned is this guide, definitely go to Woodlands!
Es ist einfach noch altes Asien! Früher war ich auch schon dort mit Rucksack und es ist jetzt immer noch gleich !
Like there's Chinatown, there's also Little India in every Malaysia city. If you like Indian food, yes, you should definitely go here!
Little India in Penang belongs to my favorites. It's full of shops with beautiful clothes, interesting food, colors, flower and typical Indian music.
There are many Little Indians in Malaysia and Singapore. Little India is a place which Indians met together and do business here. Along the street, you can seen India Temple, Indian food, florists, gold and many... They are also expert in Money Changes.
An energetic and culturally thriving neighborhood in Georgetown, Little India is the place to find great Indian food (obviously) and street snacks, along with much of the city's historic architecture.
Fun neighborhood in Georgetown Penang. Lots of good Indian restaurants and shops. It is a heritage site now, so it is well maintained and clean.
This is Tosei - is it specially done long and crispy. Vegetarian rest in Little India in Penang.
loveley indian food very cheap but spotlessly clean with some interesting shopp[ng and wonderful helpful people
Fading colonial architecture and Chinese Clan Houses make this a World Heritage site, with the bonus of fantastic curries. Look out also for the street gardens, especially on Armenian.
Bollywood music blasting from every other store. Smells of garlic and coriander wafting from food stalls and restaurants. Narrow roads packed with motorbikes and sari-clad pedestrians. You will forget your in a SE asian country.
The street food is unreal. Try the fresh samosas, tandoori chicken, and mutton. Wash it all down with a mango lassi. Then repeat....
