Goodman Gallery

My wife and I aren’t specifically art connoisseurs, but curiosity got the better of us, and we checked out the gallery. And, I’m glad we did spend some time there! Not only was it full of gorgeous contemporary art, but the building is also an artwork in itself. As an added bonus, the gallery has an excellent location. It’s definitely a great place to see the city’s local art!

This gallery was ok. It was a lot more sparse than I thought it should be for such a large building. The art was also modern and media based. I'm not sure if that's their norm, but not really my thing. The only showpiece I got was very moving though.

The Goodman Gallery has a controversial reputation for contemporary art. If you're an art enthusiat but are looking for something out of the ordinary be sure to check it out. There are a few other galleries within walking distance, so you can make an afternoon of it!
