This beautiful, unique hotel is perfect for those looking for something a little bit different in Paris. There are some Asian accents to the neo-gothic design of the entire hotel, from the bar downstairs to the outside garden to the rooms. Speaking of the rooms, try reserving the room with its own private terrace for a special treat. You'll love the bathtubs, with their windows overlooking the quiet street below. They're built into little nooks in the bathrooms, the perfect cozy place to relax after a day of walking around the city! The bar on the ground floor offers a nice choice of beverages, plus fresh Parisian macarons! And the breakfast room downstairs offers a whole different atmosphere, with tapestries on the walls and plush chairs for a nice, easy wakeup before you go out to explore. Bear in mind that while there is elevator access to all floors, the breakfast room is not handicap accessible as there are two steps down.
I was astounded by the lush "neo-gothic orientalist" design of this place. Every inch of the hotel had been dressed to look between a mix of Persia and old Europe, a very just metaphor for the city of Paris nowadays. I was taken aback by the building's 16th century underground area, where you can have breakfast surrounded by the medieval tapestries and chandeliers in a dim-lit, very cozy atmosphere. I also loved the small courtyard with statues and vegetation, a quiet an intimate place for coffee an a cigarette. Room-service is available for dinner and the hotel organises catering throughout the day from the surrounding restaurants of the St-Paul and Chatelet area.
I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeously decorated hotel located between Hôtel de Ville and the Marais. The décor, neogothic mixed with oriental influences, is amazing and every fabric, piece of furniture and detail is rich and luxurious. The rooms might be on the small size but the space is used efficiently with upholstered wall panels concealing a closet, and sliding doors hiding the bathroom that features a bathtub and Costes beauty products. You are treated like royalty with the options of room service (including foie gras or macarons!), a concierge that is always available for any request, and a laundry service. Ipads, movies and books are also available for those of you wanting to hibernate in your cozy room. While this hotel is sure to appeal to the fashion crowd they also accommodate families and even have a mascot for your kids to relate to, Mr. Bear Tibourg. With prices starting at under 200/night, you really can’t go wrong with this hotel.
This small, stylized boutique hotel exudes charm and great, attentive but not pretentious service. Staff is young and helpful. Forgot your adapter, they'll loan you one and tell where you can purchase one. Arrived early, no problem. Help yourself to breakfast (A feast impossible to finish) while they store your luggage and then give you a map and point out the latest exhibits or favorite happenings. Rooms are small (this IS Paris) but they make the most of every square millimeter and provide everything's a traveller would need. Even the single bed was quite large and comfy. Location could not be more central!! Excellent boulangerie and cafe on the corner. Metro nearby. Feel free to fall in love. Un coup de foudre!
