Again, more beaches, internationally famous fishing...tarpon, snook, red, you name it. Gulf fishing or in the flats on the harbor side. It just a tad over a hour drive up and around from Port Charlotte. If you have access to a boat, you can leave straight from Burnt Store Marina, head due west across Charlotte Harbor, and in ten miles you will be in the Boca Grande Pass!
