Relaxing and relaxing
We stayed at the Jammertal Resort for the second time, it was a very nice and relaxing time again. From the treatments to the culinary offer, which has rounded off the stay perfectly.
We would definitely come back!

Highly recommended - pure relaxation
We received a voucher for the Jammertal for our wedding, so we became aware of this offer. The hotel room was very cozy and unusually large. It was modern and clean, pleasantly brightly designed and there was a balcony.
The food was excellent on all occasions and the service staff were very friendly.
Unfortunately, the sauna area lacks ice to cool my insulin pump. The staff were very helpful though, so I was provided with cooling pads and ice cubes train with which everything worked well.
Cell phones are allowed here, but the camera must be covered with stickers. I think this is a very good idea that I would have liked to see elsewhere.
We spent a very nice time here and can recommend the Jammertal without restriction.

Actually great, but huge minus point
I have been to the Jammertal Resort for the second time and was always really excited. Therefore, it is all the more sad that I now have to deduct stars. But then later.
Jammeral Resort is a great place to relax. The wellness area is spacious, the relaxation rooms are great and the swimming-nature-pond I love especially. Every hour or two there's a great infusion.
Of particular note is the food - the breakfast, but especially the dinner is insanely delicious, a smooth 10/10. The service in the restaurant is great, the staff is always very attentive and courteous.
The rooms are partly a bit old and could do with a modernization, but everything is really clean.
Now to the point which unfortunately has dulled my impression: On my second visit I travelled for two nights with my five-month-old son. My initial doubts about whether he would be welcome in the wellness area or just tolerated in a gnashing manner were quickly removed from me. Both the staff and the other guests were all positive towards him and quite magical with him. It was only at home that I realized that my bill had listed an extra charge of 25 euros. Here was meant the baby cot, which was in the room, but I had never booked and which was not used (my baby sleeps with me in my bed). I didn't address this on the spot as I assumed that this was provided free of charge and it is a nice attention (especially since it was not listed in the confirmation voucher). I was already in several hotels with my son and the baby bed was always offered to me free of charge without exception.
So I called the Jammertal Resort and asked about the possibility of a credit for the unbooked and unused extra bed. Here I was politely informed that this is unfortunately not possible and I would have been lucky that the 25 euros were only charged once, because actually this price applies per night... That means the additional fee for my baby, who sleeps with me in my bed and eats nothing, would be 50 euros. Calculating the baby bed at all is one thing. I can still explain this with the amount of work involved in building up and covering the sheets. But a) I think 25 is significantly too high for this and b) why is this charged per night? After all, this is a one-off expense.
Unfortunately, there was no goodwill or accommodating to my demand here. It is always incomprehensible to me why such large and established hotels scare away for the future because of a few euros of well-paying guests (we paid almost 1000 euros for two nights after all). I am a trained hotel specialist myself and therefore understand it less.
Another point about this: By default, Jammertal R esort only provides two housekeepings per week, which I think is very good and right in terms of protecting the environment. However, on request you can have the room cleaned daily for FREE. Again, I lack proportion to the baby bed. The cost of using personnel and materials in daily room cleaning is probably a joke compared to the one-time construction of a baby cot.
Really a pity that this actually great hotel is in the way of itself because of something like this.
PS: Bringing a dog costs only 15 euros per night. I'll leave that uncommented...

Recreation, enjoyment and golf in the Jammertal
he Hotel und Resort Jammertal convinced us!
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, which makes the stay very pleasant from the start. The location in the middle of a beautiful, tranquil landscape offers ideal conditions for recreation. Of particular note is the 9-hole golf course, which is perfect for a quick round with a lightweight "Sunday Bag".
The wellness offer is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. Culinary delights are also served here: Breakfast and dinner are not only rich, but offer a wide range of freshly prepared and delicious food.
A special highlight is the junior chef, Mr. Schnieder, who shares his cooking skills on a social media platform – so we became aware of this wonderful Resort in the first place. The channel provides exciting insights into his cuisine and what to expect at Jammertal Resort.
We will definitely come back!

Decaying bird on the terrace. Total ignorance of hotel staff
The hotel boasts 4 stars. We are frequent travelers and know hotels worldwide especially from the golf and spa sector. Some hotels fill their stars with an innovative "more" and others work through the conditions for 4 stars. So eg room size or 24 hour reception. Jammertal Resort belongs to the second category. Breakfast and dinner are fine, but nothing more. You can do that for 1.2 times. The spa area borders you a wooden wall bounded by the campsite. The imagination of the inclined reader can imagine the rest. Lying area in the nudist area is mainly given by a huge multi-level glass house. In winter, be sure... we measured 38.5 degrees! This can be useful in the morning, because not all saunas are in operation before 12h. Overall, the Resort notices that it is slightly older. Which is probably accompanied by a certain carelessness with regard to the care. And thus to the ultimately only one star. We had inhabited the appt. WILDROSE with sauna, Jacuzzi and large balcony with table, chairs and two sun loungers. The days were wonderful and we liked to lie down on the loungers after dinner and a short walk from 22h. the a little strange smell we blamed on the unfortunately not far away kitchen fume cupboard. --- so by the way I therefore advise against this apartment. For the morning gym stick we pushed the loungers on the 3. Day aside. .... Afterwards, my wife went to the bathroom to vomit and I went to the reception for immediate CHECKOUT. UNDER THE LAYER lay a dead almost completely decomposed bird. Lt. Statement of a biologist to whom I showed the photo, he probably already lay there about 4-5 weeks. SO MUCH for ATTENTION in a wellness Resort where thorough cleaning and care should be paramount. I don't want to imagine if it looks similar under other loungers, beds, sauna benches. The biologist also explained to me that the odor nuisance should NOT have gone unnoticed in the first days of decomposition. Are the employees used to the kitchen fume cupboard smelling strange from time to time? I don't think I would have answered that either. The gentleman I had to check out was at least appropriately indignified.. The older lady, on the other hand, where my wife dropped off the keys, would have dropped off HER keys in my company about 10 seconds later. An ignorance and she shouldn't act like that. I'll be right back to reprimand this behavior. .... I have enjoyed decency and a certain upbringing with older people so far. But there are also exceptions. The lady may have her qualities... BUT THIS IGNORANCE!! Such a thing cannot, must not and should not be active in customer contact.
