I’ve stayed there before in a regular room that I reserved, directly from their website. We were greeted with a cocktail drink and we were invited to have a seat in the lobby area while my husband checked us in.
The room itself was very nice, clean and beautiful. We had a plate of cookies & pieces of chocolate treats waiting for us in the room.
This time, I reserved the Presidential Suite through Expedia . There were no seats or couches in the lobby for the rest of my party to sit, while I checked in, nor we were offered a drinks.
Our room was not ready at check in time (3:00 p.m.). So we had to go to the restaurant to get something to eat in the meantime. Finally, at 3:30 is when our room became available.
The jacuzzi had pine tree leaves/debris. The water temperature was lukewarm and the water pressure was weak.
Because of the inconvenience of not having our room ready, the front desk allowed me to do a late checkout.
The Spa was not able to accommodate 3 people at a time. Each person had to wait 30 minutes to 45 in between. Which made it difficult for us to enjoy the rest of our day. So, I decided not to proceed with the reservation.
