Rugby weekend

Just a great location, friendly staff who are very accommodating, great breakfast and room. We can with friends to watch the rugby but stayed 4 nights. We will be back again. This was our 4th stay at Lauriston Place and every time we feel we have been taken care of, not too “in your face” but staff always there to help and assist

Avoid !!!

This hotel was filthy dirty and the rooms were run down. There was only two staff on at any time. Nighttime was very noisy which I found difficulty to sleep. After complaining to a young girl she said she would look at moving us but never heard anything else.That was the end of that. I have also written to the complain to be told
I didn’t report anything to reception so they couldn’t offer me a refund. Overall avoid this particular premier inn

Friendly staff, but otherwise adequate

Lovely staff who looked out for us. Decent location. Building has seen better days and our room was cold.
The characters from this sentence onwards are because this silly TripAdvisor site makes me use a minimum quantity of characters in order to do a review. Like they're doing me some sort of service and I'm desperate to contribute. Frankly this just leads to time wasting nonsense like this and a refusal to review in the future. Nice one TripAdvisor. You clowns.

Fantastic experience

The hotel was in a good location, in walking distance of the royal mile, Edinburgh castle and prince's street, there were was shops close by which handed , the room it's self was ideal size, I didn't hear anything from outside. Overall I would go back

Excellent stay

The premier inn was good nice and quiet, we came to stay here in Edinburgh to go to a show at the theatre great value for money, the only grumble I have was the server at breakfast sorry didn't get her name but I felt she was rude as we hadn't booked for breakfast so we just rocked up and she wasn't impressed told us they were busy when there were lots of tables left and only a few tables taken up, another family arrived not long after and hadn't booked and she was really nice to them so why was my experience any different to the American family,
