Please inform Coastal Hotel & Suites Virginia Beach - Oceanfront of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of USD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note parking is limited to one space per reservation. Please note that the hotel will only have 1 operational elevator between Monday March 10, 2025 and Friday May 2, 2025 due to elevator equipment replacement. During this time, the elevator that services the 2nd floor of the hotel will be out of service. The VIP suite is only located on the second floor and will only be accessible via staircase during this time period. We apologize for any inconvenience. All other floors will be serviced by 1 elevator. Please note that this property does not accept group bookings. This property does not accommodate parties or wedding groups, and will only accommodate the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation. Additional unregistered guests are not allowed to stay at the property. The Army Corps of Engineers has temporarily closed the beach behind the hotel to replenish the sand. They have not yet released an updated schedule of when the beach will reopen. These sand replenishment efforts involve using heavy equipment to pump and move sand along the beach.
Guests must provide own credit card which matches name of reservation when checking in. The hotel will pre-authorize your card and the pre-authorization will be released if there are no extra charges or damage to the room when checking out.
